This is a study in tight diameters, made more difficult by the use of several different weights and weaves of fabric. I had to get very zen when I pieced the large undulating dark elements, focusing on one inch at a time. The engineering process was very meditative. I chose an unusual palette for me and added bias strip curves as well. I love the depth and movement of this quilt.
