I wanted to use colors that reminded me of summer including my favorite color, orange. For the texture of the quilt I was looking to do something out-of-the-box and at my sewing studio, I found this dense batting. Since there were all these pieces sewn together, I individually quilted them with the dense batting to get a puffy look. I call this quilt “Unperfect Orange”.
