I live in Vancouver, Canada. For many, Vancouver brings to mind images of gloomy winters, dark and wet with incessant rain. It is true, we get our fair share of rain, but the grays of those rainy days create a gorgeous, ever-changing palette. As Winter transforms into Spring, those grays become interspersed with pops of colour. This quilt depicts that transformation, with the quilting lines representing the flow from one season in to the next.
