Sometimes frustration prevails in art-making, allowing me to change course and forsake the “precious”. I am willing to try something different, less controlled and less like “me”. So I cut up the “first draft” and try again… something random, something very green, something that puts a smile on the frustration of efforts that were not meant to be… chasing rainbows… bringing fun and whimsy back to a process that became stalled and too heavy.
