This piece is a reflection on the seasons and the way they ebb and flow in an endless cycle. I started this quilt in January, inspired by a Japanese op art design. As an antidote to the dreary gray days, I dyed a bright and cheerful palette of cloth. By the time the quilt top was complete, daffodils were in full bloom and bluebirds were nesting just outside my studio.
