Can a quilt be the centerpiece of new friendships? This quilt was created in the aftermath of Quiltcon 2024, where we all met for the first time. 5 french Canadians, 5 mothers, 5 healthcare professionals, 5 quilters. Inspired by a collage of 5 women wearing different pattern dresses by Jemma Morris (cover of Uppercase 47th issue), we first improvised on our own. Then we went on a weekend retreat to piece it all together.
