I couldn't resist using all six of the challenge fabrics! Given a choice I always go for the scrappy prints so it is no surprise that when I design with solids my improv technique feels like making fabric with scraps. This time I began in my usual way and then moved out from the center to improvise a medallion. The slightly off kilter result is reminiscent of the bouncy movements of the marionettist.
