Wild Geese is an exploration of breaking free from personal, familial, and societal expectations. The motifs represent the various places from which I have come as well as the breakthrough points when I have chosen an unexpected path. The quilt incorporates ghost quilted geese to explore the many what ifs I have faced when choosing a path to explore. The quilt was completed with original quilted motifs as well as purchased designs.
