This is my second quilt of our German improv bee #BEEoffthecuff. I asked my bee mates to use the typical fire escapes of old brick buildings in NYC as the inspiration prompt for their abstract blocks, choosing different shades of red-brown with accents in black, gray and light tones, such as ivory or sand. I really enjoyed arranging and rearranging all the different blocks. Finally, I ended up with a layout that resembles a cityskyline.
