Rock Harbor, along Isle Royale’s northeast shoreline, is an entry point to many wilderness adventures in this special place known in Ojibwe as Minong, “the Good Place”. This quilt is an expression of my heart’s pull towards water, towards adventures, and my desire to feel comforted in the coziness of a soft blanket. Double gauze cotton fabric, bamboo/cotton batting, cotton pearl 8 weight thread. Needle-turn appliqué with hand quilting.
