My Mum bought a selection of shot cottons and matching small stripes from a favourite local quilt shop that was closing down. A number of years went past and neither she nor I could find a pattern that would work for them, so I said I'd design her one. Her only additional requests were for queen size and gentle curves. Just as I was making my first fabric cuts, the transparency challenge was announced!
