This design was an experiment, I wanted to come up with a curved block I hadn’t seen before. The base block was boring to me until it was tiled. I love the infinite and surprising possibilities which result from repeating simple shapes in quilting. Two analogous colors gradients are layered against each other to create balance and dimension. I have been making small quilts lately as a fun way to play with design and color.
