This quilt represents its makers: we have gathered together, much like the blocks in this quilt, to form a community of friends who found one-another through a shared interest, but who have since developed deeper friendships. We have each contributed an equal number of blocks to the quilt, and while they all follow the same guidelines, they represent our individuality within the whole. Together, our separate home-fires form a village of trust, support, and friendship.
