After learning Caryl Bryer Fallert's appli-piecing technique from Sheila Frampton Cooper, new possibilities opened up. My interest in hieroglyphs and petroglyphs inspired this abstract design, which I developed in Procreate. The motifs enabled me to play with free motion and ruler-work quilting designs.
