While recovering from a broken wrist I really wanted to make a quilt but was limited to what I could do. I had lots of low volume scraps and started piecing similar sizes end to end with minimal trimming. I then added areas of color, again with minimal trimming. The whole process reminded me of creating a tapestry and all the small pieces of fabric created amazing texture.
