Inspired by the Sun’s “Red Giant” phase, set to begin in 5.4 billion years, uses Windham Fabric’s Ruby+Bee solids in Poppy, Slate, and Stormy. Strip and curve piecing techniques create layered arches and curves, evoking a “lava ocean” view of the Sun on the horizon. A 1980s retro palette heightens the dimensional effect, reflecting my fascination with space, its celestial marvels, and cataclysmic transformations.
