Working in a series is challenging but delightful as the unexpected happens. Random Beginnings is the forth in a series of improv quilts. The first a structured black and white design, the second a similar design in color, the third an abstraction of a section of the second then Random Beginnings which took a direction of its own in shapes, color and size. This piece was inspired by initial work with Nancy Crow on composition.
