Silly, I know but how better to describe stacked Flying Geese cut into Dresden wedges that are pieced to form a central ring that is pieced into the background? Detailed focused and background quilting with both 12 and 50 weight thread and a bit of acrylic paint bring the Flying Ducks home via the compass star!
