Adrift is a nature and therapy-inspired quilt design made after a long-awaited trip to view glaciers in the summer of 2020 got canceled. Since then, my journeys (outside California) have been more of the mental health kind. Borrowing Freud's iceberg analogy, I sketched a simple design to represent the facets of our conscious and subconscious thoughts. Not sure if I'll see glaciers in my lifetime, but nowadays, I'm ok to just go with the flow.
