Originally from rural northern Japan, I now live in northwest Connecticut. My quilting journey began 11 years ago when my mother-in-law introduced me to hand appliqué, hand quilting, and foundation paper piecing. Initially, I focused on traditional quilting, but my interest shifted towards modern quilting. I started designing my own patterns and published my first in 2018. I've continued creating since then. I'm grateful for the opportunity to teach appliqué techniques, which bring me back to my quilting roots. I look forward to connecting with fellow quilters through workshops!
