Master the freezer paper technique and raw edge appliqué skills for creating a Dresden quilt block. Students will be using Erin’s larger, daisy shaped Dresden pattern, Darling Daisies from her book Retro Curved Pieced Quilts to create the block and master these traditional skills. Then we will learn how to apply raw edge appliqué centers to our blocks for a clean, modern finish. During this class we will complete one Dresden block that can be used for a pillow or you can work towards creating Erin’s full Darling Daisies throw quilt. Sewing machines generously provided by event sponsors!
