In this workshop, students will learn the skills of English Paper Piecing to construct a small block. We will also be discussing fabric choices and placement to take this from a project that is perfect for scraps to one where fabric choices and positioning create secondary patterns. Atelier is Karen’s new EPP pattern; it’s perfect for making a wall quilt or creating more blocks to make a useable quilt. During this workshop, students will learn and appreciate the mindfulness of creating something completely by hand and enjoy the transportability of a hand pieced project.
