Required Supplies: - fabric - a variety of light, medium and dark fabrics. The large triangles can be cut from 4" strips. The smaller triangles can be cut from 3" strips. - a small cutting mat and rotary cutter is ideal for working with the small acrylic templates or you can trace the shapes and cut them out with a small pair of scissors. - marking - a 2B mechanical pencil or 2B pencil and sharpener - pins - light, fine pins to hold fabric together - needles - fine hand sewing needles, such as size 10 or 11 milliners/ straw - fine cotton thread, such as Aurifil 80wt to match project color/s - small pair of scissors for cutting thread - templates cut from pattern or acrylic template set - printed copy of PDF pattern
Optional Supplies: - needle threader - thimble - thread conditioner - 14" x 14" wadding, felt or fleece to use as a design board
Prep Requirements: no prior cutting is required but cutting from strips is faster and easier than cutting from yardage
