Required Supplies: - 20" x 20" small basted quilt top (pin, hand or machine basted) - assortment of thicker quilting threads (8wt, 12wt, perle, sashiko) - needles to suit your thread weights - eg size 5 crewel or straw needle - small scissors - marking tool - pencil, chalk, erasable, hera, painter's tape - Small Acrylic Ruler
Optional Supplies: - thimble - small quilting hoop - thread conditioner - needle threader - ruler for marking baptist fans
Prep Requirements: If students would like to mix machine and hand quilting please lightly machine quilt your quilt sandwich before class. The quilt sandwich can be pieced, patterned or plain.
