Required Supplies: - Embroidery floss in a variety of colors (DMC, Cosmo, or Aurifloss are Hilary's preferred) --Threads for QuiltCon Exclusive Pattern are 1 skein each of DMC 20, & DMC 347, and 2 skeins of DMC 351 - Embroidery Hoop/Frame (6" or 7" Round) - One Fat Quarter 14ct Aida Fabric - Thread Snips - Tapestry Needles - Blunt Tip
Prep Requirements: Cut fat quarter of 14ct aida into 4 equally sized pieces. Roughly 9" x 10" in size
Join Hilary to learn the basics of cross stitch, including how to read a cross stitch pattern, stitch techniques, types of threads, different fabric choices, and more. Get started stitching by practicing the basic stitches on a sample piece, and then use your new skills on a quilty inspired cross stitch project.
