Required Supplies: Laptop or iPad with Affinity Designer 2 loaded and the latest update installed. This is a fast paced class, so the software must be loaded and updated before class begins. You may want to open it up before class just to make sure. - Power source for your device. - Pen or pencil for taking notes.
Optional Supplies: To most efficiently use this software, a wired or wireless keyboard and mouse are strongly recommended.
Are you ready to start designing your own quilts on the computer, but want an alternative to Adobe Illustrator? Affinity Designer is a powerful tool for graphic design including quilt design. Learn how to design your own original quilts, play with colors and fabric swatches, make your own templates, and even determine fabric requirements and make a cutting plan with minimal math. Students must bring their own laptop and power supply, with Affinity Designer installed and ready to use. No prior experience is necessary with the software. This is a no sew workshop.
