Quilting with rulers is a fundamental skill for finishing your quilts to stitch in the ditch, echo shapes, create grids, and more. Learn foundational ruler quilting motifs and mix them with some basic free motion quilting for stunning results! Ruler quilting skills taught will include stitch in the ditch, echo quilting, dot to dot quilting, grids, and ruler-guided switch backs. Participants should be comfortable hand-guiding a quilt under a domestic machine and comfortable quilting a handful of FMQ motifs for best success in this workshop. Sewing machines generously provided by event sponsors!
