Learn how to create stunning paper collages from on-hand materials and accurately transpose those designs into a fabulous quilt. Discover how Sarah likes to find inspiration in everyday objects to create fun paper art using recyclable materials from wrappers, pages from magazines, and even canned food labels and then uses these collages for an initial design to springboard to a full-sized a fabric quilt. When creating a paper collage, Sarah does not necessarily see the resulting quilt in her mind. That comes when she pulls away and stands back from the design. The excitement then starts to happen when she thinks about how she can use this piece as a starting point for a beautiful quilt! Come jump into the fun of paper play and create your own unique design with this fun process! Sewing machines generously provided by event sponsors!
