Prep Requirements: Please have all fabrics cut according to pattern pieces prior to class. If you are quilting your bag pieces please also have this step done before class.
Learn to make the Fifth Avenue Sling Bag! The Fifth Avenue is a beginner friendly and trendy multi use fanny pack with plenty of room inside for all your adventures. It can be made from a wide variety of materials and is also very upcycling friendly. This workshop will cover zipper installation, understanding types of interfacing for different fabrics, two different types of webbing attachments (buckle or swivel hooks), zipper pockets, bag assembly, making an adjustable strap, and adding optional features of quilting and/or fringe. Sewing machines generously provided by event sponsors!
