PH005 - All About Hand Piecing: Halo

NOTE: Materials fees are required for some workshops. These fees are paid directly to faculty and are not part of your registration fee.

Required Supplies:
- Halo Pattern
- A variety of small cuts of fabric (scraps, fat sixteenths, or eights)- remember to include some florals, geometrics, spots, stripes etc. Jen suggests about 12 different prints or colors work work with during class, the smallest size of fabric that will work for this pattern is ~ 5" square.
- Thick Template plastic- Dritz or EZ (or Halo acrylic template set - optional)
- Ultra-fine permanent marker
- Scissors for cutting plastic - (shared scissors will be provided but you may wish to have your own to maximize class time)
- Fabric scissors - (shared scissors will be provided but you may wish to have your own to maximize class time)
- Straw or milliners needles Size 11
- Neutral 50wt cotton thread to blend with fabrics for piecing e.g. grey or Jen's go-to colour 2375 from Aurifil
- General sewing requirements e.g. pins
- 0.7mm Mechanical pencil (propelling pencil) with 2B lead
- 1/4" simple seam wheel or ruler with 1/4 markings
- Sandpaper board
