The Pinpoint Quilt is part of a series of quilts where I’m working to minimize the number of seams while constructing each piece, reducing the visual noise from unnecessary seams. The teardrop shape in each block is cut from one continuous piece of fabric. While the blocks are arranged in rows and columns, there is a strong diagonal created by the orientation of the block, and this design is complemented by neon diagonal grid quilting.
