This design is a tribute to the mid-century modern painters, but using my color palette and my intentions. I like to create 3-D shapes, interactions, movement, and a bit of whimsey. Chaos may rule the world right now, but this quilt takes me to a happy place! My modern quilting motifs add texture. This quilt is hand appliqued, double batted and free motion quilted on a domestic Bernina.
