Tracks Trio is an abstract take on railroad ties and tracks, inspired by Ozark forests' role in building the Frisco Railway and Northwest Arkansas’s growth in the late 1800s. I was commissioned to design three quilts for a permanent outdoor art display at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History in Springdale, Arkansas highlighting the six counties' ecology, history, and culture. My research/ design process aimed to reflect our heritage in a fresh modern quilt design.
