Perfection feels like the enemy. My quilts are made of broken rules. I use scissors instead of a blade and encourage wobbly seams. I’m fighting all those women who told me that I was doing ‘it’ the wrong way. Fuck the quilt police, fuck the sexist fashion police, fuck those comments on the internet. There is no right way, there is more than one way to do things.
