The Loose Weave quilt is my interpretation of woven fibres. The design uses a variety of piecing methods, including strip piecing the straight lines and curved piecing on the end curves. Since the fibres appear to weave in front and behind each other there isn't a traditional grid so all sections were assembled with Y-seams. The use of subtle "shadow" pieces adds dimension and the curvy machine and hand quilting provides a sense of movement.
