This design was created by playing with LEGO DOTS (colorful small flat tile shapes). Each flower is an individual mini quilt, created with a combination of hand appliqué (curved edges) and machine piecing (straight edges) & a mix of hand and machine quilting. After each mini quilt was complete, I appliquéd them to the background. The hand quilted circles in the background represent the studs on a LEGO plate.
