This work is created from the handmade face masks I made and then wore every day at my retail job for over two years -- from the beginning of the COVID lockdown until we felt our coworkers and customers were no longer at acute risk. The colorful mask fabrics are paired with stereotypical hospital scrubs and scrub-colored fabric in reference to the health crisis that the emergence of the pandemic created.
