Windmills hold a special place in my heart, brought on by that colourful toy l played with as a child. l get giddy with excitement seeing the huge wind turbines whirling along on the rolling hills whenever we go on a road trip. The Transparency challenge inspired me to create a design paying homage to my favourite things; windmills, flowers and curved piecing, to bring out the illusion of movement with the rotating petals.
