Water marks, washers on a faded background or, in the eyes of my friend Kelly, rings on water created by a Water Strider (or Pond Skater as is the British name of said insect). What started as a play with layered circles morphed into transparent circles on top of tumbling ovals with the help of my Long Oval Multiple Drunkard’s Path templates and a, possibly unhealthy, obsession with precision piecing.
