I chose pink fabrics because I really like the colors and designs. I got my fabrics from quilt shops while we were on a road trip along the Washington and Oregon coasts. The color of the thread blends in with the quilt and I like how it shows up on the light colors. I sewed all the blocks together myself and I did the quilting and binding with my mom’s help.
