(APP002) All That Follows

This quilt uses large-scale appliqué to present the image. I used a method of turned needle appliqué that borrows techniques I learned from English Paper Piecing. The pieces were hand-stitched with 50 wt thread and the quilt was hand-quilted using 12 wt thread. This quilt represents a pivotal moment, in my case a loss, and all that follows. One moment can be the catalyst for changes, ripples, and events that spread throughout our lifetimes.
