This is the second quilt in a series of exploring how I translate my ideas into quilts. I wanted to Work LARGE with applique, but still use needle turn. For this piece I pieced a background, used my longarm to baste the appliqe on the on top, then did my needle turn at my leisure without having to worry about pins. I kept going with the process as the quilt grew. Baste and Stitch!
