Harvest moon glows big and bright on a minimal background suggesting night. The color gradations were hand-dyed using six buckets in my bathtub. I refined a process for 1/2 yard cuts of cloth to achieve near solid results in one session without using multiple agitator washers. Monofilament quilting thread in the center, paired with a dense 1/4" grid of varied colors in the background, creates a striking textural contrast.
