I used all six of the Windham fabrics in this quilt, with five of the colors cut into block shapes and the darkest color, “Stormy”, in narrow lines. The quilt is hand quilted, with thread colors chosen to match the colors of the fabric. This creates texture without distracting from the fabric colors. The colors of these fabrics reminded me of the saturated colors used by Henri Matisse in his artwork.
