This map shows the area in Westchester County, NY, where I've lived for the past four years. Patterned fabrics mark places that were particularly important to me, gray is water, green are parks, nature preserves and forests. I hand stitched the quilt top using the English Paper Piecing technique. The templates were made from transparent paper, which I used to trace a paper printout of the map. The quilt is entirely hand-quilted.
