This quilt grew from my experiments with leaving seams exposed on the surface. For this piece, I wanted a cleaner, more polished look while still playing with texture. I used French seams to create soft, raised curves, enclosing a thin piece of black fabric inside each seam for contrast. The result is subtle yet dynamic, with the seams adding depth and flow while maintaining a simple, finished appearance.
