This quilt was pieced in 2020 using my scraps and freehand techniques as a daily project. In solidarity, my friend, Sarah Hibbert, sent me letters from “across the pond” to make one of the words which I happily incorporated into the design. The top languished until 2024, when another consequential election motivated me to finish. Print fabrics continue the message on the reverse side. Democracy works best when everyone participates!
