Going into this project I knew that I wanted to incorporate overlocking rings. The design and construction processes unveiled several magnetic patterns throughout this quilt. Flying geese and circles originating at the center of this quilt resemble magnetic field lines. The red and blue color scheme symbolizes the north and south poles present within magnetic material. Each small detail of this piece certainly attracts the eye. This quilt was fully pieced and quilted by myself.
