Graduation Day features three characters ready to take on the world! I began this improv quilt with large shapes - rectangles, oblongs, circles. I didn't know what I was making until a purple half-circle on top of a rectangle became a head, which was followed by a black cap, and I had a valedictorian! I imagine his friends are a guitarist and perhaps a future lawyer (with pearls like Ruth Bader Ginsburg)
