(MDT036) Out to Lunch

This quilt was inspired by the traditional quilting motif of flying geese. Each large triangle began with three geese in the same color, and a symmetrical layout was created added around those three pieces. This quilt was assembled by merging pre-quilted pieces with a zig-zag stitch. On the front, bias strips were added to cover all seams, and on the back the seams were displayed to reveal the construction. Quilt top colors were hand dyed.
